Thanks for the kind words, Woody. I'd love to say I have a lot of answers for what to do when someone is facing end-of-life. Sure, we treat complicated symptoms, we help with decision-making and processing. But I honestly think that "presence" may be the most important thing we can offer. Presence, and meeting people where they are. It's a great privilege to be present with these humans and their loved ones at the eleventh hour.
